The VALUE COLLECTION G-L9020 is a malleable iron 90-degree pipe elbow fitting sized at 2 inches, designed for use in threaded pipe systems carrying liquids, gases, or steam. Constructed from Class 150 malleable iron with a galvanized finish coating, this elbow provides a durable directional change in piping runs where corrosion resistance and reliable pressure performance are required. It is rated at 300 psi for liquid and gas service and 150 psi for steam service. Plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors working on low- to medium-pressure piping systems will find this fitting straightforward to install in standard NPT-threaded configurations.
This 90-degree elbow is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC piping, gas distribution lines, and steam distribution systems operating within its rated pressure limits. The galvanized finish provides added protection against rust and corrosion in environments where moisture exposure is likely. It fits standard 2-inch threaded pipe and is appropriate for use in new construction, retrofit, and repair applications where a right-angle directional change is needed in the pipe run.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for standard 2-inch NPT-threaded malleable iron pipe systems in liquid, gas, and steam service applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local plumbing and mechanical codes, including ASME and IFGC requirements where gas service is involved. Shut off and depressurize the pipe system fully before making or breaking any threaded connections. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to male threads before assembly, and tighten to the fitting manufacturer-specified engagement without over-torquing the malleable iron threads. For steam or gas applications, verify all joints for leaks after pressurization before returning the system to service.
