The VALUE COLLECTION FSD14200 is a split drive concrete anchor designed for direct fastening into concrete and masonry without the need for an expansion clip or setting tool. The anchor is driven directly into a pre-drilled hole, where its split shank expands against the base material to create a secure mechanical hold. Constructed from steel with a zinc-plated finish, this anchor measures 2 inches in overall length and accepts a 1/4-inch diameter hole. It features a flat head profile for flush-mount applications. Licensed contractors and tradespeople use this anchor type for light-duty fastening tasks in concrete walls, floors, and block structures.
This anchor is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a fast, tool-driven concrete fastener is required. Typical installations include attaching electrical conduit straps, small brackets, furring strips, and similar fixtures directly to poured concrete or concrete masonry units (CMU). The 1-1/8-inch minimum embedment depth ensures adequate holding strength in standard-weight concrete. It is installed without adhesive or expansion hardware, making it a straightforward choice for high-volume fastening work on the job site.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and general-use split drive concrete anchor for light-duty fastening applications in poured concrete and concrete masonry unit (CMU) construction.
Installation is performed by drilling a 1/4-inch hole to the required depth, clearing debris from the hole, inserting the anchor, and driving it flush with a hammer. Power down or de-energize any nearby electrical systems before drilling into structural concrete. Follow applicable building codes, including local masonry fastening requirements, for minimum edge distance and spacing. Do not use in base materials softer than standard-weight concrete, as holding values will be reduced.
