The VALUE COLLECTION FHS1XX0525-050BX is a metric flat socket cap screw engineered for applications that require a flush or countersunk fastener profile. Featuring a 90-degree flat head driven by a 3.00 mm hex socket, this fastener seats flush with or below the mating surface, keeping clearances tight and surfaces unobstructed. Manufactured from 316 austenitic stainless steel to Grade A4, it delivers strong corrosion resistance in wet, marine, and chemically aggressive environments. The M5x0.8 thread with 25.00 mm overall length is partially threaded, making it well suited for clamping applications where grip-length precision matters. Installation requires a 3.00 mm hex key or driver bit.
This fastener is used across mechanical assembly, structural fabrication, marine hardware, food-processing equipment, and general industrial maintenance where a low-profile head and corrosion resistance are both required. The 316 stainless steel grade is commonly specified in coastal, offshore, and sanitary environments where 304-grade fasteners would be inadequate. Electricians, millwrights, pipefitters, and general maintenance technicians regularly use this style of fastener when panel mounting, bracket installation, or equipment assembly calls for a countersunk drive point and metric threading. Sold in a minimum order quantity of 50 pieces per box.
Designed as a standard DIN 7991 metric flat socket cap screw in M5x0.8 thread size, suitable for countersunk holes tapped or clearance-drilled to M5 metric specifications in metal, composite, or structural assemblies.
Installation requires a calibrated 3.00 mm hex key or socket driver; use of an incorrect driver size risks cam-out and head damage. Always verify the mating material is tapped or helicoil-inserted to M5x0.8 metric thread standard before driving. When installing in assemblies subject to vibration, a thread-locking compound or locking washer appropriate for stainless fasteners is recommended. Do not use carbon steel tools that may introduce galvanic contamination on the fastener head in corrosive environments.
