The VALUE COLLECTION FHS1X0450-025BX is a metric flat socket cap screw designed for flush or countersunk fastening applications. Built to DIN 7991 standards, this M4x0.7 screw features a 90-degree flat head with a 2.50 mm hex socket drive and a partially threaded shank. The overall length is 50 mm. Constructed from 18-8 austenitic stainless steel (Grade A2), it delivers corrosion resistance suitable for general mechanical assemblies, instrumentation, and light structural connections. Sold in a minimum order quantity of 25 pieces. Installation requires a standard 2.50 mm hex key.
This flat socket cap screw is used wherever a low-profile, countersunk fastener is required. The 90-degree flat head allows the screw to seat flush with or below the mating surface, making it appropriate for panel assemblies, equipment enclosures, jigs, fixtures, and precision mechanical components. The metric M4x0.7 thread pitch suits a wide range of metric-tapped holes found in fabricated assemblies and OEM equipment across industrial, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing service applications.
Designed for use in metric-tapped M4x0.7 holes per standard metric thread specifications. Suitable as a flush-mount fastener in countersunk applications conforming to DIN 7991 dimensional requirements.
Installation requires a 2.50 mm hex key or Allen driver. Ensure the mating surface is properly countersunk to a 90-degree angle to allow full head seating. Verify thread engagement depth before final tightening to avoid stripping the tapped hole. When installing stainless steel fasteners into stainless steel threads, apply an anti-galling compound to prevent thread seizure.
