The VALUE COLLECTION FDNYD2-250-25PK is a female wire disconnect terminal designed for fast, reliable electrical connections in residential and commercial wiring applications. The terminal features a double crimp connection method that secures both the conductor and insulation jacket for a mechanically sound termination. The nylon insulation is partially applied and colored blue to aid in quick identification at the job site. Rated for 16-14 AWG wire, this terminal accepts conductors ranging from 1.50 to 2.50 square millimeters. The 1/4 inch tab width is the standard size for a wide range of quick-disconnect receptacles. This pack contains 25 terminals, making it suitable for panel wiring, control circuit work, or equipment service tasks.
These female disconnect terminals are used in low-voltage control wiring, appliance harnesses, HVAC control panels, and general electrical panel assemblies. They are well suited for residential and light commercial service work where a fast, removable connection is needed without soldering. Electricians, HVAC technicians, and appliance service pros commonly use this style of terminal when terminating wires to spade-style tabs on contactors, relays, switches, and control boards.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service terminal for residential and commercial electrical and HVAC control wiring applications using 16-14 AWG conductors and standard 1/4 inch spade-tab connectors.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians or qualified HVAC technicians using a ratcheting or calibrated crimp tool rated for insulated terminals. Always de-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating or removing any disconnect terminal. Use only the proper AWG wire specified for this terminal to ensure a secure double crimp; undersized or oversized wire will result in a poor connection. Work performed in panel enclosures should comply with applicable NEC requirements.
