The VALUE COLLECTION E7508-GREY is a partially insulated crimp wire ferrule designed to terminate stranded copper conductors in control panels, terminal blocks, and industrial wiring applications. Rated for 18 AWG conductors with a cross-sectional area of 0.75 mm2, each ferrule features a tin-plated copper contact and a gray nylon insulation collar. The pin is 0.315 inches long with a 1.2 mm diameter, and the overall ferrule length is approximately 0.55 inches (14 mm). Sold in a pack of 100, these ferrules are installed by electricians and panel technicians requiring clean, reliable wire terminations that prevent conductor fraying at screw-type or spring-cage terminal connections.
These ferrules are suited for residential and commercial low-voltage control wiring, PLC panel builds, HVAC control board wiring, and any application where stranded 18 AWG wire must terminate into a terminal block without strand scatter. The partial insulation collar provides a grip point during insertion and helps maintain wire organization in dense terminal strips. Each ferrule accepts a single conductor entry, making them appropriate for standard single-wire terminal positions.
Designed as an OEM-style crimp ferrule for use with 18 AWG stranded copper conductors in standard terminal block applications.
Installation requires a dedicated wire ferrule crimping tool sized for 0.75 mm2 ferrules — do not substitute with general-purpose pliers or incorrect crimp dies, as improper crimps can result in loose terminations or conductor damage. Strip conductor insulation to the correct length before insertion so the conductor fills the full pin length without excess bare wire extending beyond the contact. De-energize and lock out all circuits before terminating wires in any panel or terminal strip. Follow applicable NEC requirements for panel wiring and termination methods.
