The VALUE COLLECTION E16-12-GREEN is a partially insulated wire ferrule designed to terminate stranded copper conductors in panel wiring, control cabinets, and terminal block connections. Rated for 6 AWG conductors (16 mm2 cross-section), each ferrule features a tin-plated copper pin that provides a reliable crimp interface with a pin length of 0.472 inches and an overall length of approximately 0.94 inches. The green nylon insulation collar makes AWG 6 circuits immediately identifiable at a glance, supporting fast, accurate troubleshooting in dense wiring environments. These ferrules ship in a 100-piece package, suited for production panel builds and service stock alike.
Wire ferrules of this type are standard in industrial control panels, HVAC electrical enclosures, motor drive wiring, and commercial electrical distribution work where stranded wire must seat cleanly into screw-clamp or spring-clamp terminal blocks. Electricians and panel builders use them to prevent wire strand splaying at termination points, which reduces contact resistance and minimizes nuisance faults over the service life of the equipment. Single-entry configuration accommodates one conductor per ferrule, consistent with dedicated terminal block positions in control and power circuits.
Designed as an OEM-style termination ferrule for 6 AWG stranded copper conductors used with screw-clamp and spring-clamp terminal blocks in control panel and electrical enclosure applications.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians following applicable NEC requirements for terminal block wiring in panel and enclosure assemblies. De-energize and lock out the panel before terminating any conductors. Use a calibrated ratcheting ferrule crimping tool sized for the 6 AWG range to achieve a full, consistent crimp — do not use pliers or non-rated tools, as an incomplete crimp can result in high-resistance connections or pull-out failure. Verify the ferrule seats fully into the terminal block entry before tightening or releasing the clamp.
