It features a straight-cylindrical shank measuring 0.437 inches in diameter and cuts in the forward direction with 3 flutes for efficient chip evacuation. At an overall length of approximately 5 inches (127 mm), it fits standard drill press chucks and milling machine setups used in machining and fabrication shops.

This counterbore is suited for metalworking applications where a 6 mm fastener must be recessed into a workpiece.
