The VALUE COLLECTION DT22HEX-6-32 is a combination drill tap designed to drill a pilot hole and cut 6-32 threads in a single pass. The tool is machined from high molybdenum high speed steel, which provides heat resistance and edge retention during high-speed threading operations. It features a 135-degree split drill point for self-centering entry, reducing the need for a center punch. With 2 flutes and a black and gold coating, this drill tap is suited for production threading in thin ferrous and non-ferrous materials where a separate drill-and-tap workflow would slow cycle time.
