The VALUE COLLECTION DPBFI0-60225P-200BX is a No. 6 coarse-thread drywall screw designed for fastening gypsum board to wood framing. The bugle head profile seats flush with the drywall face without tearing the paper facing. A Phillips drive recess accepts a standard No. 2 bit. At 2.25 inches in length, this screw provides sufficient thread engagement for single-layer half-inch or five-eighths-inch drywall applications into standard wood studs. The black phosphate finish reduces surface corrosion during typical interior installations. These screws are manufactured from Grade 2 steel and are sold in a minimum quantity of 200 per order, suited for production framing and finishing work.
These drywall screws are intended for interior residential and light commercial applications where gypsum wallboard is fastened to wood framing members. The 2.25-inch length is a common choice for single-layer drywall on wood studs, a task handled daily by drywall hangers, finish carpenters, and general contractors. The black phosphate finish is standard for interior drywall work where the screw head will be covered with joint compound. These screws are not rated for metal framing, treated lumber, or exterior exposure without a separate corrosion-resistant fastener specification.
Designed as a standard replacement or production fastener for interior wood-framed drywall assemblies using No. 6 coarse-thread drywall screws at 2.25 inches in length.
Installation is performed by drywall hangers or carpenters using a drywall screw gun or variable-speed drill with a dimpler attachment set to the correct depth. Drive the screw so the head creates a slight dimple in the drywall surface without breaking the paper facing. Follow local building codes and gypsum board manufacturer fastener schedules for spacing requirements. Do not use these screws in metal framing applications, as metal-framing drywall screws require a different thread form and tip.
