The VALUE COLLECTION CT7-1 is a carbide-tipped hole saw designed for cutting clean, accurate holes in a wide range of materials. With a 1-inch saw diameter and a 1-inch cutting depth, this saw handles both thin and moderately thick stock without requiring a pilot drill swap. The carbide-tipped cutting edge provides the hardness needed to work through metals and composite materials that would quickly dull standard bi-metal teeth. It is suited for electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and general tradespeople who need a compact, single-inch cutter for conduit knockouts, pipe penetrations, and panel cutouts.
This hole saw is appropriate for use in residential and light commercial applications. It is sized for 1-inch diameter holes, making it a common choice for conduit entries, small pipe rough-ins, and access cutouts. Compatible materials include aluminum, cast iron, copper, fiberglass, iron, stainless steel, and steel, giving it broad utility across plumbing, electrical, and mechanical trades.
Designed for use with standard 3/8-inch arbor hole saw mandrels. Suitable for cutting aluminum, cast iron, copper, fiberglass, iron, stainless steel, and steel.
Install the hole saw onto a compatible 3/8-inch arbor mandrel before use and confirm the set screw is fully seated. Always disconnect power or de-energize the work area before cutting near electrical components, and shut off fluid supply lines before cutting for pipe penetrations. Use appropriate cutting fluid or lubricant when working through ferrous metals to extend blade life and reduce heat buildup. Wear eye protection and secure the workpiece before beginning the cut.
