The VALUE COLLECTION CR-9-6 is a cartridge roll mandrel designed to hold and drive cartridge rolls during grinding, deburring, and surface finishing operations. The mandrel features a 0.125-inch pilot diameter and a 1-inch pilot length for secure cartridge roll retention. The 0.25-inch shank diameter and 4.5-inch shank length allow it to be chucked into standard die grinders and rotary tools. Overall length is 6 inches. The quick-change design speeds up cartridge roll swaps during continuous finishing work, reducing downtime between abrasive changes.
This mandrel is used in metal fabrication, maintenance, and repair applications where cartridge rolls are the preferred abrasive format. Typical scenarios include deburring drilled or machined holes, blending welds, and finishing internal or contoured surfaces. It is suited for use in handheld die grinders in both shop and field environments. Machinists, fabricators, and maintenance technicians are the primary users.
Designed as a standard-style cartridge roll mandrel for use with cartridge rolls having a 0.125-inch pilot bore, compatible with handheld die grinders and rotary tools accepting a 0.25-inch shank.
Installation is performed by machinists or fabricators using a standard die grinder or rotary tool. Power down and disconnect the tool from the air supply or electrical source before installing or removing the mandrel or cartridge roll. Ensure the shank is fully seated and the chuck is tightened securely before operation. Inspect the mandrel and cartridge roll for wear or damage before each use.
