The VALUE COLLECTION CPM-18 is a No. 1 abrasive point mandrel designed to mount and drive abrasive cones, points, and rubberized points in rotary tools and die grinders. The mandrel features a 3/32-inch shank that fits standard collets and chucks, and measures 1-3/4 inches in overall length. A 1/16-inch hole through the mandrel accepts the threaded screw or pin that secures the abrasive accessory in place during operation. Machinists, tool and die technicians, and maintenance professionals use this type of mandrel when performing internal grinding, deburring, and finishing work on metal, rubber, or composite surfaces.
