The VALUE COLLECTION CL-24 is a CL-style finger clamp designed to secure indexable inserts in compatible turning toolholders. It is used in metal cutting operations where a neutral cut direction is required. The clamp measures 0.78 inches in height and is compatible with XNS-610 clamp screws, using a 3/8-24 thread size. Machinists and toolroom technicians install this clamp as part of an indexable toolholder assembly on manual or CNC lathes. It is a direct-fit replacement or spare component for toolholder setups that rely on the CL clamping system.
This finger clamp is suited for turning applications using indexable carbide or ceramic inserts in a neutral cut orientation. The CL-24 fits MCLNL/R 24-8E toolholder bodies and is a standard component in CL-series clamping systems used in production and job-shop turning environments. It is sold individually and is available in minimum order quantities of 10 units, making it practical for stocking spare components across a toolroom or machine shop.
Compatible with MCLNL/R 24-8E toolholders and XNS-610 clamp screws. Designed for use in CL-series indexable clamping systems.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians. Shut down and lock out the machine before replacing or adjusting any toolholder clamping components. Use the appropriate torx or hex key driver specified for the XNS-610 clamp screw when seating the finger clamp. Inspect the clamp seating surface and insert pocket for wear or debris before assembly.
