The VALUE COLLECTION C703507 is a fully threaded hex head cap screw designed for high-strength bolted connections in industrial, mechanical, and structural applications. It features a 3/4-16 UNF thread — a fine-pitch unified thread that provides greater holding strength and resistance to vibration loosening compared to coarse-thread equivalents. At 1-3/4 inches in length under the head and manufactured from Grade 8 steel with no surface coating, this fastener meets ASME B18.2.1 dimensional standards. It is sized for use with a standard 1-1/8 inch wrench and is suited for joints where high clamp load is required. This package contains 25 pieces.
Fine-pitch Grade 8 hex cap screws are used across a wide range of trades and industries including HVAC equipment assembly, mechanical contracting, agricultural equipment, automotive, and structural fabrication. The 3/4-16 UNF thread is common in high-load applications where the joint must resist dynamic loading or vibration — such as equipment mounting, flange connections, and drive component assembly. Fully threaded construction allows maximum thread engagement even in shorter grip situations.
Designed as an OEM-style and general-purpose replacement hex head cap screw for any application calling for a 3/4-16 UNF fully threaded Grade 8 fastener per ASME B18.2.1.
Installation should be performed by a qualified mechanic or tradesperson using a properly sized 1-1/8 inch open-end, box-end, or socket wrench. Always consult the equipment manufacturer's torque specifications for the joint being assembled — do not estimate torque on Grade 8 fasteners in structural or load-bearing applications. Inspect threads for damage before installation and ensure the mating nut or tapped hole is also rated for the intended load. Uncoated fasteners should be protected from corrosive environments or treated with an appropriate thread lubricant or sealant per the application requirements.
