The VALUE COLLECTION C50000106 is a drop-in concrete anchor designed for permanent fastening applications in solid concrete. Manufactured from Grade 5 steel with a zinc finish, this anchor accepts a 3/8-inch threaded rod or bolt and is set using a standard setting tool. The anchor measures 3/8 inches in diameter with an overall length of 1-9/16 inches and requires a minimum embedment depth of 1-9/16 inches. A 3/8-inch diameter drill bit is required to bore the receiving hole. Licensed trades and general contractors use these anchors when attaching structural or mechanical components to poured concrete slabs, walls, or overhead decks.
Drop-in anchors of this type are commonly used in commercial and industrial construction as well as mechanical room installations. Typical applications include anchoring threaded rod for pipe hangers, electrical conduit supports, HVAC equipment bases, and similar trade fixtures to concrete substrates. This part is sold in a package quantity of 100, making it suited for projects requiring repetitive anchor placements. The compatible setting tool referenced in specifications is the NFCDT38.
Designed for use with setting tool NFCDT38. Intended for installation into solid poured concrete. Not rated for use in hollow block, brick, or other masonry substrates without engineering review.
Installation is performed by licensed contractors or qualified tradespeople using a rotary hammer drill and the correct setting tool. Drill the hole to the specified diameter and minimum embedment depth, clear all dust and debris from the hole before inserting the anchor, then drive the anchor flush using the setting tool and a hammer. Always verify that the base material is solid concrete of adequate compressive strength before installation, and follow applicable building codes for anchor spacing and edge distance requirements.
