The VALUE COLLECTION BVT38 is a fully insulated, crimp-on butt splice terminal designed for joining two conductors in a single inline connection. Built for 2 AWG wire and rated for use with 38.00 sq mm conductors, this terminal features a vinyl insulation sleeve in red for straightforward gauge identification. The copper contact provides reliable conductivity at the crimp joint. At 2.165 inches overall length and 0.61 inches overall diameter, it fits standard butt splice tooling used in automotive, marine, and industrial electrical work. Electricians and electrical technicians install this terminal where a secure, insulated inline splice is required without the use of solder or open-barrel connectors.
This butt splice terminal is suited for residential and commercial wiring applications, as well as automotive, marine, and industrial panel work where 2 AWG conductors require a clean, insulated inline connection. The vinyl sleeve provides dielectric protection over the finished crimp and resists abrasion in routed wire harness installations. The red color coding aligns with standard AWG color conventions for quick visual identification during inspection or service. Sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 10 units.
Designed as a standard crimp-on butt splice for 2 AWG conductors in electrical, automotive, marine, and industrial wiring applications where a fully insulated vinyl inline splice terminal is required.
Installation is performed by electricians or qualified electrical technicians using a ratcheting or standard crimp tool rated for insulated butt splice terminals at the 2 AWG range. Strip conductors to the appropriate length before inserting into each wire entry port, then apply a full crimp cycle to both ends of the terminal. Verify conductor insertion depth before crimping and inspect the finished crimp for secure conductor retention. Follow applicable NEC guidelines for splice terminations in the installation environment.
