The VALUE COLLECTION BV2-50PK is a fully insulated, crimp-on butt splice terminal designed for joining two conductors in a single inline connection. The terminal accepts wire sizes from 1.5 to 2.5 square mm and features a blue vinyl insulation sleeve for quick wire-gauge identification in the field. At 0.969 inches overall length and 0.177 inches overall diameter, this is a compact connector suited for tight wire harness work. The copper contact material provides reliable conductivity, and the package includes 50 terminals per order. This SKU is appropriate for electricians, automotive technicians, and panel wiring professionals working on low-voltage wiring runs.
These butt splice terminals are used wherever two wire ends must be joined inline without soldering. Typical applications include residential and light commercial electrical panels, control wiring, HVAC low-voltage circuits, appliance wiring, and automotive or marine harness repairs. The blue color coding follows the standard industry convention for the 1.5 to 2.5 sq mm wire gauge range, making sorting and identification straightforward on multi-wire jobs.
Designed for use with stranded or solid copper conductors in the 1.5 to 2.5 square mm wire gauge range. Suitable for inline wire splicing in low-voltage electrical, HVAC control, and similar wiring applications where a UL Listed butt splice connector is required.
Butt splice terminals of this type are installed by electricians and wiring technicians using a ratcheting or standard insulated-wire crimp tool sized for the applicable gauge. Always de-energize the circuit and verify absence of voltage before making any splice connection. Strip wire ends to the depth specified by the terminal barrel length and insert fully before crimping. Avoid over-stripping, which can leave exposed conductor outside the insulation sleeve after crimping.
