The VALUE COLLECTION BOW-71415F is a crimp-style bullet connector designed for splicing and terminating 16 to 14 AWG wire in automotive, marine, and low-voltage electrical applications. The connector features a blue heat shrink polyolefin insulation sleeve that shrinks over the wire after crimping, creating a secure, moisture-resistant seal around the joint. The bullet diameter measures 0.157 inches, fitting standard bullet receptacles used across a wide range of wiring harness and panel applications. Installation requires a ratcheting or standard crimp tool appropriate for insulated connectors. This connector is sold in a minimum order quantity of 25 pieces per order, with a package quantity of 1.
This bullet connector is suited for residential, commercial, and light industrial low-voltage wiring tasks where a reliable inline or branch wire connection is needed. Common applications include HVAC control wiring, automotive harness repair, trailer lighting circuits, and panel wiring where a removable or separable bullet-style connection is preferred over a permanent splice. The heat shrink sleeve provides additional strain relief and environmental protection compared to standard vinyl-insulated connectors, making it a practical choice in areas exposed to moisture or vibration.
Designed as an OEM-style crimp bullet connector compatible with standard 0.157-inch bullet receptacles used in low-voltage wiring harnesses across automotive, marine, HVAC control, and general electrical applications for 16 to 14 AWG wire.
Installation is performed by electricians, automotive technicians, or HVAC service techs using a ratcheting insulated-connector crimp tool rated for the AWG range. De-energize all circuits completely before terminating wires. After crimping, apply heat evenly to the polyolefin sleeve using a heat gun until the sleeve conforms fully around the wire jacket to achieve the environmental seal. Do not use an open flame to activate the heat shrink sleeve.
