The VALUE COLLECTION BOEC16104wHex is a Grade 2 steel elevator bolt designed for bulk fastening applications requiring a low-profile, flat head with a large bearing surface. This bolt features a 3/8-16 UNC thread, a 1-1/4 inch overall length, and a 1-5/16 inch diameter flat head that seats flush against mating surfaces to distribute clamping load and resist pull-through. The uncoated steel construction keeps the bolt serviceable in standard indoor mechanical and industrial environments. Elevator bolts of this type are commonly installed by maintenance mechanics, conveyor technicians, and general tradespeople working on belt and bucket elevator systems.
This elevator bolt is suited for use in conveyor belt assemblies, bucket elevator systems, and similar material-handling equipment where the flat, countersunk-style head must sit flush or below the belt surface. The large head diameter prevents the fastener from pulling through the belt material during operation. At a 3/8-16 UNC thread specification, this bolt accepts standard hex nuts and washers readily available in the trade. It is appropriate for light-to-medium duty conveyor and elevator belt installations in agricultural, industrial, and light manufacturing settings.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fastener for belt and bucket elevator assemblies requiring a 3/8-16 UNC flat-head elevator bolt with a 1-5/16 inch head diameter.
Elevator bolts are typically installed by maintenance mechanics or conveyor technicians following equipment manufacturer torque and assembly specifications. De-energize and lock out all conveyor or elevator equipment before removing or installing fasteners in accordance with applicable OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Use a flat washer and hex nut on the underside of the belt to achieve proper clamping without damaging belt material. Do not substitute a standard hex-head bolt where an elevator bolt is specified, as head geometry affects belt tracking and belt integrity.
