The VALUE COLLECTION BNYT1 is a fully insulated, crimp-on butt splice terminal designed to join two conductors end-to-end in a single, secure connection. The nylon insulation sleeve covers the entire barrel, providing mechanical protection and electrical isolation after the crimp is made. Rated for wire sizes from 0.50 to 1.50 square millimeters, this terminal accepts two wire entries and is suitable for low-voltage wiring applications where a clean, code-acceptable splice is required. Overall length is 1.075 inches and overall diameter is 0.126 inches. Electricians, HVAC technicians, and controls wiring specialists install this type of terminal in panel wiring, controls circuits, and field splicing work.
This butt splice terminal is used in residential and light commercial applications wherever inline conductor splicing is needed. Typical install scenarios include low-voltage thermostat wiring, motor control wiring, sensor leads, and similar small-gauge conductor work. The red color coding indicates compatibility with the 0.50 to 1.50 sq mm wire range, allowing technicians to quickly select the correct terminal on the job. It is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 50 pieces per order.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and general-use crimp terminal for applications requiring inline splicing of 0.50 to 1.50 sq mm conductors.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians or qualified technicians. De-energize and lock out the circuit before making any splice connection in accordance with NEC lockout/tagout requirements. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimp tool sized for insulated nylon terminals to ensure a full, gas-tight crimp — do not use pliers or uncalibrated tools, as an improper crimp can result in high-resistance connections or pull-out failure. Inspect the insulation sleeve after crimping to confirm no cracking or displacement has occurred.
