The VALUE COLLECTION BNT2 is a non-insulated, crimp-on butt splice terminal designed to join two conductors end-to-end in a single, compact connection. Manufactured from copper, it accepts wire sizes from 1.5 to 2.5 square millimeters and measures 15.00 mm (0.591 inches) in overall length with an overall diameter of 3.90 mm (0.154 inches). The non-insulated design keeps the profile low and is suitable for installations where heat shrink or separate sleeving will be applied over the finished crimp. Licensed electricians, panel technicians, and field service techs use this terminal in control wiring, low-voltage circuits, and instrumentation applications where a clean inline splice is required.
This terminal is suited for residential, commercial, and light industrial wiring tasks involving conductors in the 1.5 to 2.5 sq mm range, which corresponds to common control and signal wire gauges used in HVAC, electrical panels, and automation systems. Its copper construction ensures good conductivity across the splice joint. The crimp-on connection method eliminates the need for solder and is compatible with standard ratcheting or manual crimp tools sized for this terminal barrel diameter.
Designed as an OEM-style crimp splice terminal for use with conductors ranging from 1.5 to 2.5 sq mm in residential, commercial, and industrial wiring applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize the circuit completely before making any splice connection. Use a properly sized crimp tool rated for non-insulated terminals in this barrel diameter range to ensure a gas-tight, mechanically secure crimp. Apply heat shrink tubing or insulating sleeving over the finished splice where exposed conductors are not permitted by code or installation requirements.
