The 1/4-28 taper thread provides a secure, leak-resistant seal when driven into a corresponding tapped port. The zinc plated finish offers corrosion resistance in typical shop and field environments. This type of fitting, commonly called a Zerk fitting, accepts a standard grease gun coupler for routine lubrication service. Installation Notes
