The VALUE COLLECTION BDNA-15794 is a wrot copper 45-degree elbow fitting designed for sweat-connect copper piping systems. Sized at 3/4 inch with a cup-by-cup (C x C) end connection, it redirects flow at a 45-degree angle in potable water, hydronic heating, and general plumbing lines. The wrot copper construction provides higher tensile strength and better formability compared to cast fittings, making it a standard choice for tight rough-in work. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting using standard soldering or brazing procedures on copper tube systems.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing applications where a 45-degree change of direction is required on 3/4 inch copper tube. Typical installations include domestic hot and cold water supply lines, hydronic radiant systems, and in-wall or under-slab distribution runs. The C x C end connection accepts standard 3/4 inch copper tubing on both ends for a uniform sweat-joint assembly.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-use fitting for 3/4 inch copper tube sweat connections in residential and commercial plumbing systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the International Plumbing Code (IPC) and applicable local codes. Shut off and depressurize the water supply and drain the line before cutting or soldering. Clean all mating surfaces with emery cloth and apply flux before soldering; use lead-free solder for potable water applications. Do not apply flame directly to an assembled joint without adequate heat shielding for adjacent materials.
