The VALUE COLLECTION BDNA-15746 is a wrot copper pipe coupling designed for sweat-solder connections in residential and commercial plumbing systems. Configured with a C x C (copper-to-copper) end connection, this 3/4-inch fitting joins two copper pipe runs using standard soldering techniques. Wrot copper construction offers higher strength and pressure resistance compared to cast fittings, making it the preferred choice for pressure lines, domestic water distribution, and hydronic heating applications. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this coupling as a standard joining component wherever a continuous copper run must be extended or spliced.
This coupling is suited for 3/4-inch copper pipe installations in residential water supply lines, commercial plumbing rough-in, and hydronic heating loops. The C x C configuration requires a clean-cut pipe end, flux application, and sweat soldering per standard practice. It is commonly specified where wrot copper fittings are required by local code or project spec over cast alternatives. The 7/8-inch outside diameter is consistent with standard 3/4-inch nominal copper tube sizing.

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the International Plumbing Code (IPC) and applicable local amendments. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before cutting or soldering. Clean pipe ends and fitting cups with emery cloth, apply appropriate flux, and solder with a lead-free alloy where required by code. Do not apply heat to a pressurized or water-filled line.
