It uses aluminum oxide coated abrasive at 80 grit, which classifies as medium grade and makes it well suited for general-purpose stock removal and surface conditioning on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The wheel measures 1-1/2 inches in diameter with a 1 inch face width and mounts via a 1/4 inch shank. Maximum operating speed is 30,000 RPM.
