The VALUE COLLECTION BD-TNB-5254- is a 1-inch trade size angled compression connector designed for liquid-tight conduit systems. Constructed from malleable iron and steel, this non-insulated fitting uses a compression connection method to secure liquid-tight flexible conduit to junction boxes, enclosures, and other termination points. The angled body design simplifies routing in tight spaces where a straight connector cannot make a clean entry. This type of fitting is standard inventory for licensed electricians working on industrial, commercial, and mechanical equipment installations where conduit must transition into an enclosure at an offset angle.
This connector is suited for liquid-tight flexible metal or nonmetallic conduit (LFMC or LNMC) applications in environments where moisture, oils, or contaminants are present. Typical install scenarios include motor connections, HVAC equipment hookups, pump enclosures, and other applications where vibration resistance and environmental sealing are required at the conduit termination. The 1-inch trade size accommodates standard 1-inch liquid-tight conduit. This fitting ships in a package of 5 units, making it practical for multi-connection jobs or service stock.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit connector for 1-inch trade size liquid-tight flexible metal or nonmetallic conduit systems in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical installations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC Article 350 governing liquid-tight flexible metal conduit. De-energize the circuit and verify lockout-tagout procedures before beginning any conduit termination work. Compression connectors require a wrench or pliers to tighten the compression nut to a secure, watertight fit against the conduit jacket. Do not overtighten, as malleable iron fittings can crack under excessive torque.
