The VALUE COLLECTION BD-TNB-5244- is an angled, compression-style conduit connector designed for use with liquid-tight flexible conduit. Constructed from malleable iron steel, this non-insulated fitting provides a secure, watertight mechanical connection at a 1-inch trade size. The compression connection type eliminates the need for threading at the conduit end, making termination straightforward on the job site. This type of connector is a standard fitting in electrical rough-in and equipment connection work, used wherever liquid-tight flexible conduit must terminate at an enclosure, junction box, or panel knockout.
This connector is suited for residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical installations where liquid-tight flexible metal or non-metallic conduit must connect to metallic enclosures. Common applications include HVAC equipment connections, motor terminations, and any installation requiring strain relief and environmental sealing at the conduit end. The angled body geometry is particularly useful in tight spaces or where the conduit must change direction close to the enclosure. Each package contains 5 connectors.
Designed as a standard OEM-style replacement and new-installation fitting for 1-inch trade size liquid-tight flexible conduit systems in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical applications.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize the circuit and verify absence of voltage before making any connections at the enclosure knockout. Insert the liquid-tight conduit into the connector body and tighten the compression nut by hand before final tightening with the appropriate wrench — do not over-torque the compression nut, as malleable iron fittings can crack under excessive force. Verify conduit seating and connector locknut engagement are secure before restoring power.
