The VALUE COLLECTION BD-18365 is a partially insulated locking fork terminal designed for secure crimp-style wire terminations in electrical wiring applications. The terminal features a blue nylon insulation sleeve and is rated for 600 volts, making it suitable for a wide range of low- and medium-voltage control wiring tasks. The contact is manufactured from copper with a TiN (titanium nitride) plating, which improves resistance to corrosion and wear at the contact surface. This terminal is commonly installed by electricians and HVAC technicians where a reliable, vibration-resistant connection to a number 6 stud is required.
These locking fork terminals are used in residential and light commercial electrical panels, HVAC control wiring, motor control centers, and similar equipment where a spade-style terminal must remain secured to a stud or screw without accidental disconnection. The locking fork design adds mechanical retention compared to a standard open-barrel fork terminal, reducing the risk of the terminal backing off under vibration or thermal cycling. Each package contains 50 terminals, suitable for stocking in a service van or shop inventory.
Designed as a standard crimp-style locking fork terminal for use with number 6 studs or screws in electrical, HVAC control, and industrial wiring applications where a partially insulated blue-coded terminal is specified.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or licensed trade professional in accordance with the NEC and applicable local codes. De-energize the circuit completely before terminating or repositioning any wiring. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimping tool sized for the terminal and wire gauge to ensure a proper mechanical crimp. Do not use these terminals beyond their 600-volt rating or on wire gauges outside the terminal manufacturer's specified range.
