The VALUE COLLECTION BD-18323 is a partially insulated, D-shaped ring terminal designed for secure crimp connections on copper conductors. It accepts 16 to 14 AWG wire and fits a No. 10 stud. The copper contact is plated with TiN for corrosion resistance, and the nylon insulation sleeve provides partial strain relief at the barrel. Electricians and panel technicians use this terminal when terminating control wiring, low-voltage circuits, or branch circuit conductors at screw-type studs and binding posts. The blue color coding corresponds to the 16-to-14 AWG range under standard wire terminal color conventions. Each package contains 50 terminals.
This terminal is suited for residential and light commercial electrical work, control panel wiring, HVAC low-voltage terminations, and industrial enclosure builds. The D-shaped ring geometry prevents the terminal from rotating on the stud once the fastener is seated, which is useful in vibration-prone environments such as equipment panels and motor controls. The crimp connection style requires no soldering, making installation fast with standard ratcheting or hand crimp tooling. Supplied in a 50-piece pack to cover a typical service call or panel build without excess inventory.
Designed as a standard crimp ring terminal for use with 16 to 14 AWG copper wire on No. 10 stud terminations in electrical panels, control enclosures, and low-voltage wiring applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating any conductors. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimp tool sized for 16-to-14 AWG insulated terminals to ensure a full, gas-tight crimp. Do not use pliers or non-ratcheting tools as an inadequate crimp can result in high-resistance connections or pull-out failure.
