The VALUE COLLECTION BD-18310 is a partially insulated circular ring terminal designed for secure crimp connections in low-voltage wiring applications. Built with a copper contact and a tin (TiN) plating for corrosion resistance, this terminal accepts 22 to 18 AWG wire and fits a number 4 stud. The nylon insulation sleeve provides a partial barrier at the barrel end, making it a reliable choice for electricians and technicians terminating control wiring, panel wiring, and instrumentation circuits. Each package contains 50 terminals. The BD-18310 meets CSA and UL listing requirements for use in listed assemblies and equipment.
This ring terminal is suited for residential and light commercial electrical work, control panel assembly, HVAC low-voltage wiring, and equipment wiring applications where a secure, compact crimp termination is required. The number 4 stud size fits small binding posts and screw terminals common in control boards, junction boxes, and terminal strips. The red color coding quickly identifies 22 to 18 AWG wire range on the job, helping reduce wiring errors during installation and service.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard-stock crimp ring terminal for use with 22 to 18 AWG wire on number 4 stud terminations in electrical, HVAC control, and instrumentation wiring applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or trained technician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and any applicable local codes. De-energize the circuit completely before making or breaking any terminal connections. Use a calibrated ratchet crimping tool rated for 22 to 18 AWG non-insulated or nylon-insulated terminals to achieve a proper crimp — do not use pliers or uncalibrated tools as an improper crimp can cause connection failure. Inspect the finished crimp for barrel deformation and confirm the ring seats flush against the stud before torquing the fastener.
