The VALUE COLLECTION BD-17210 is a non-insulated square ring terminal designed for secure, permanent electrical connections in panel wiring, control panels, and equipment grounding applications. Built with a copper contact body and a titanium nitride (TiN) contact plating, this terminal is crimped directly onto 8 AWG wire to deliver a reliable, low-resistance connection. The overall length is 1.31 inches and the ring width is 0.56 inches, making it sized for a 3/8 inch stud. It is sold in a package of 10 terminals. Licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians are the typical installers for this type of terminal.
This square ring terminal is suited for use in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical work where a bare, non-insulated crimp lug is required. It is commonly used to terminate 8 AWG copper wire at bus bars, ground lugs, terminal blocks, and equipment chassis studs sized at 3/8 inch. The square ring profile prevents the terminal from rotating on the stud during tightening, which adds mechanical stability in vibration-prone environments such as HVAC equipment panels and motor control enclosures.

Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating any conductors. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimp tool rated for non-insulated ring terminals at the appropriate AWG to achieve a proper crimp. Inspect the completed crimp for deformation, exposed strands, or inadequate seating before restoring power.
