The VALUE COLLECTION BC10P0006 is a combination drill and countersink designed for precision countersinking operations in metal, plastic, and composite materials. Built from cobalt high-speed steel with a bright, uncoated finish, this tool delivers heat and wear resistance suited for harder materials and production environments. It features a 1/2 inch body diameter, a 7/32 inch drill point diameter, a 7/32 inch drill point length, and a 3 inch overall length. The 82-degree included angle produces standard countersink geometry compatible with flat-head fastener seating. Machinists and metalworking professionals use this tool in drill presses, lathes, and CNC setups where repeatable countersink depth and angle are required.
This combo drill countersink is suited for shop floor and field use where size 6 fastener countersinking is the primary task. The plain cutting edge style and right-hand cutting direction make it compatible with standard drill chucks and collet holders. Its double-end type maximizes tool life by providing two usable cutting ends. Applications include aerospace-adjacent fabrication, general metalworking, and mechanical assembly where flush fastener seating is required. The cobalt construction makes it a practical choice when carbon steel tooling wears prematurely against stainless, alloy steel, or work-hardened surfaces.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use tool for size 6 countersinking applications in standard drill press, lathe, and CNC setups using 1/2 inch body diameter toolholders or collets.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or metalworking professionals familiar with rotary cutting tool safety. Secure the tool firmly in a compatible collet or drill chuck before operation and verify there is no runout before engaging the workpiece. Always wear appropriate eye protection and ensure the workpiece is clamped or fixtured to prevent movement during cutting. Do not exceed the recommended speed range for cobalt tooling in the target material.
