The VALUE COLLECTION B90R 32X20 is a Class 150 malleable iron black pipe reducing 90 degree elbow designed for threaded pipe assemblies in gas, water, and general plumbing distribution systems. This fitting transitions from a 1-1/4 inch run to a 3/4 inch branch while making a 90 degree directional change in a single fitting. Rated at 150 psi with NPT threaded end connections, it is installed by licensed plumbers and pipefitters in both new construction and retrofit applications. The malleable iron construction provides the toughness needed for standard trade installations and meets multiple international standards including NSF/ANSI 61 for potable water contact.
This reducing elbow is suited for residential and light commercial piping systems where a direction change and pipe size reduction are required at the same connection point. Common applications include branch takeoffs in supply lines, gas distribution piping, and hydronic heating systems. The black finish is standard for gas and steam service. The fitting accepts standard NPT threaded pipe and fittings on both ends, making it compatible with conventional pipe wrenches and thread sealant installation methods used across plumbing and pipefitting trades.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for Class 150 threaded malleable iron pipe systems using 1-1/4 inch and 3/4 inch NPT connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IFGC requirements where gas service is involved. Shut off and depressurize the pipe system completely before removing or installing any threaded fittings. Apply listed thread sealant or PTFE tape to male threads before assembly and tighten to hand-tight plus wrench-tight per standard trade practice. Do not over-torque malleable iron fittings, as this can crack the fitting body.
