The VALUE COLLECTION B8MSTFE0875C350 is a fully threaded stud with a 7/8-9 UNC thread form and an overall length of 3.5 inches. Machined from 316 stainless steel with an uncoated plain finish, this stud meets ASTM B8M standards for corrosion-resistant fastener applications. The 2A thread fit class ensures reliable engagement with standard 2B-class nuts and threaded inserts. Fully threaded along the entire 3.5-inch length, the stud provides maximum versatility in clamping and assembly configurations. Mechanical contractors, pipefitters, and millwrights commonly use this type of fastener in corrosive or high-moisture environments where carbon steel hardware would be unsuitable.
This stud is suited for industrial, commercial, and marine-adjacent installations where 316 stainless steel is specified for its elevated resistance to chlorides and oxidizing environments. Typical applications include pipe flange assembly, equipment mounting, and structural connections in wet or chemically active settings. The right-hand thread direction is compatible with standard tooling and hardware throughout the trade. Sold individually, it is appropriate for repair, replacement, or low-quantity assembly work.
Designed for use with any standard 7/8-9 UNC 2B-class nut or threaded component. Suitable as an OEM-style replacement or new installation fastener in flanged piping systems, equipment bases, and structural assemblies that specify 316 stainless steel B8M-class studs.
Installation is typically performed by pipefitters, millwrights, or mechanical contractors. De-energize, depressurize, and isolate the assembly before removing or installing any fastener in a pressurized or load-bearing system. Use appropriate anti-seize compound on stainless threads to prevent galling during torque-up. Follow applicable ASME or plant-specific torque specifications for the flange class and gasket type in use.
