The VALUE COLLECTION B8MS037C325 is a fully threaded stud with a 3/8-16 UNC thread form and an overall length of 3.25 inches. Manufactured from stainless steel to material grade B8M, this stud delivers corrosion resistance suitable for demanding service environments. The uncoated finish and Class 2A thread fit provide a standard external thread tolerance appropriate for general-purpose fastening applications. Fully threaded along its entire 3.25-inch length, it offers flexible engagement depth and can be cut to shorter lengths in the field when required. Mechanical, maintenance, and industrial trades use this type of stud for bolted assemblies, pipe flange connections, and equipment mounting.
This fully threaded stud is suited for use in industrial, commercial, and mechanical applications where stainless steel fasteners are specified for corrosion resistance or elevated-temperature service. Grade B8M stainless material is commonly called out in pressure vessel, piping, and process equipment assemblies. The 3/8-16 thread size is a standard coarse-thread designation compatible with matching hex nuts, coupling nuts, and threaded inserts of the same thread class and size.
Designed for use with any 3/8-16 UNC-threaded nut, coupling nut, or tapped component requiring a Class 2A external thread fit. Consult engineering drawings or assembly specifications to confirm material grade and thread engagement requirements before installation.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed mechanic, millwright, pipefitter, or maintenance technician. Always de-energize and isolate the assembly before removing or installing fasteners in energized or pressurized systems. Apply an appropriate anti-seize compound when joining stainless steel fasteners to prevent galling during torque-up. Follow applicable codes such as ASME B18.31 or the relevant equipment manufacturer specification for torque and engagement requirements.
