The VALUE COLLECTION B120 10 is a black malleable iron 45 degree elbow fitting designed for threaded pipe connections in low-pressure gas and liquid systems. Rated at 300 psi, this Class 150 fitting meets EN 10242 and ISO 7/1 standards, making it suitable for plumbing, HVAC piping, and general industrial piping applications. The black finish provides corrosion resistance for use in dry or mildly humid environments. At 0.15 pounds, it is a compact, lightweight fitting intended for 3/8 inch pipe. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians install this type of fitting in branch or directional changes within threaded iron pipe systems.
This 45 degree elbow is used in residential and light commercial piping systems where a 45 degree directional change is required on a 3/8 inch threaded line. Common applications include gas supply piping, water distribution lines, and HVAC condensate or process piping. The threaded end connections allow installation without welding or soldering, using standard pipe thread engagement. It is sold individually and is well suited for service work, repairs, or new construction installations where malleable iron fittings are specified.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for 3/8 inch threaded malleable iron pipe systems in residential and commercial gas, water, and HVAC piping applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local codes, including IPC and IFGC requirements for gas and water piping systems. Shut off the gas or water supply and relieve system pressure before disassembling any existing fittings. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male threads before engagement and tighten with a pipe wrench to achieve a leak-free connection. Do not over-tighten malleable iron fittings, as excessive force can crack the casting.
