The VALUE COLLECTION AP04 is an aluminum expansion plug designed to seal the open ends of pipes and tubing during pressure testing, storage, or system maintenance. When inserted and expanded, the plug creates a secure, leak-resistant seal rated to 9 psi maximum working pressure. The unexpanded diameter measures 3.779 inches, expanding to a final seated diameter of 4.113 inches. The 1/2-inch stem diameter allows for straightforward installation and removal using standard hand tools. Plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors use this type of plug during hydrostatic testing and temporary pipe closure applications.
