The VALUE COLLECTION A210236 is a metric cup point set screw designed for secure, headless fastening in mechanical assemblies. Manufactured from 18-8 austenitic stainless steel to Grade A2, it resists corrosion in demanding environments including wet, outdoor, and light chemical exposure applications. The screw follows DIN 916 standards with an M8 x 1.25 thread profile and an overall length of 25 mm. Drive engagement is via a 4 mm hex key socket. This package contains 25 screws. Installed by machinists, maintenance technicians, and mechanical assemblers wherever a flush or recessed fastener is required to lock shafts, collars, or pulleys in place.
Cup point set screws are commonly used in rotating shaft-to-collar connections, set-position fixtures, and machinery maintenance across industrial, HVAC, and mechanical service applications. The cup point geometry bites into the mating surface to resist axial and rotational movement without a protruding head. This grade A2 stainless construction makes the fastener suitable for humid or corrosive environments where standard carbon steel fasteners would degrade.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service fastener for metric mechanical assemblies requiring a DIN 916 cup point set screw with an M8 x 1.25 thread and 25 mm length.
Installation requires a 4 mm hex key or Allen driver. Ensure the mating bore or shaft is clean and free of debris before seating the screw. De-energize or lock out any rotating equipment before installing or removing set screws per applicable OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Do not exceed the rated engagement depth of the mating component.
