The VALUE COLLECTION 934-000-275 is a single-end ball end mill designed for precision milling operations across a wide range of metalworking applications. Built from high speed steel (HSS), this tool features a 0.0900-inch mill diameter with a 0.2700-inch length of cut and a 0.0450-inch nose radius. The variable helix angle, ranging from 35 to 40 degrees, helps reduce chatter and improves surface finish during both roughing and finishing passes. With a right-hand cutting direction and spiral flute geometry, it is suited for machinists and tool-and-die professionals working on small-feature detail work in production or job-shop environments.
This end mill is rated for use on a broad spectrum of primary workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous metals, high-temperature alloys, and hardened materials. The bright uncoated finish keeps the tool ready to use out of the package without additional preparation. The 3/16-inch (0.1875-inch) straight-cylindrical shank fits standard collets and end mill holders used on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills. It is a standard-length tool, appropriate for general-purpose milling where extended reach is not required.
Designed as a standard-fitment single-end ball end mill for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines equipped with a 3/16-inch collet or end mill holder. Compatible with workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous metals, high-temperature alloys, and hardened materials per Series 858 specifications.
Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician. The machine spindle must be fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into a clean, undamaged collet or end mill holder and torque the retention mechanism per the machine manufacturer's specification. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before first use and do not exceed the rated depth of cut for the 0.2700-inch length of cut.
