The Value Collection 934-000-267 is a single-end ball end mill designed for precision milling operations across a wide range of metalworking applications. It measures 0.0500 inches in diameter with a 0.1500-inch length of cut and a 0.1875-inch straight cylindrical shank. The tool is ground from high speed steel and left in a bright, uncoated finish. Two spiral flutes with a variable helix angle between 35 and 40 degrees combine roughing and finishing capability in a single pass. The 1.5000-inch overall length keeps the tool compact and rigid for tight-tolerance work. This end mill is centercutting, allowing plunge entry as well as conventional peripheral milling.
This end mill is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous metals, high-temperature alloys, and hardened materials. The small 0.0500-inch diameter makes it well-matched to fine-feature work, slot milling, and profiling in die and mold applications, prototype machining, and precision part manufacturing. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional CNC and manual milling machine setups. The 0.0250-inch nose radius provides the full ball-end profile for 3D contouring and radius-bottom slots.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use tool for standard 3/16-inch end mill holders and collet chucks used in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the machine fully powered down and the spindle locked. The straight-cylindrical shank requires a properly sized collet or end mill holder torqued to the machine manufacturer's specification. At 0.0500-inch diameter, this is a fragile tool — avoid side loads beyond the rated length of cut and confirm runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production run. Use cutting fluid appropriate to the workpiece material to extend tool life.
