The VALUE COLLECTION 934-000-233 is a cobalt ball end mill designed for precision milling operations across a wide range of metallic workpiece materials. With a 0.0500-inch mill diameter and a 0.0750-inch length of cut, this stub-length tool is built for tight-tolerance work in confined areas. The 2-flute, single-end configuration supports both roughing and finishing passes in a single tool, and the bright/uncoated finish is well suited for applications where coating is unnecessary or where tool regrinding is anticipated. The 35-40 degree variable helix geometry helps reduce chatter and improve chip evacuation during demanding cuts.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual knee mills where small-diameter tools are required. Typical applications include die and mold work, engraving, contouring, and precision slot milling. The cobalt construction provides better heat and wear resistance than standard high-speed steel, making it appropriate for harder workpiece materials including hardened steels and high-temperature alloys. The straight-cylindrical 3/16-inch shank fits standard collet chucks and end mill holders commonly found in production and job-shop environments.
Designed for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous metals, high-temperature alloys, and hardened materials. Fits any standard collet or end mill holder accepting a 3/16-inch straight-cylindrical shank.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully powered down and locked out per shop safety procedures. Secure the 3/16-inch shank in a properly sized collet or end mill holder to the torque specified by the toolholder manufacturer. Inspect the tool for runout after installation using a dial indicator before beginning a cut. Do not exceed the recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and tool diameter.
