The VALUE COLLECTION 934-000-232 is a cobalt ball end mill designed for precision milling in a wide range of metalworking applications. The tool measures 0.0450 inches in diameter with a 0.0680-inch length of cut and a 0.1875-inch straight-cylindrical shank. Overall length is 1.5 inches. The 2-flute spiral configuration supports both roughing and finishing passes, while the variable helix angle of 35 to 40 degrees reduces chatter and improves chip evacuation. The bright, uncoated finish is standard for cobalt tools and suits applications where coatings are not required or preferred. The 0.0225-inch nose radius is fixed. This stub-length geometry is intended for machinists and CNC operators requiring tight-tolerance cuts in confined workspaces.
This end mill is suited for use on CNC machining centers and manual mills where small-diameter tooling is required. It is centercutting, allowing plunge entry, and cuts in a right-hand direction with right-hand flute orientation. The cobalt substrate handles elevated cutting temperatures better than standard high-speed steel, making it appropriate for harder and more abrasive workpiece materials. It is designed for single-end use and carries no extended-reach or coolant-through features, consistent with its stub-length classification in the Series 857 lineup.

Verify spindle runout before beginning cuts, as excessive runout at this diameter will cause accelerated tool wear and poor tolerances. Always confirm the machine is at a full stop and spindle power is off before changing or inspecting tooling.
