The VALUE COLLECTION 934-000-203 is a square end mill designed for precise milling operations in metal fabrication and machining applications. Constructed from high speed steel (HSS), this single-end stub-length tool measures 0.07 inches in diameter with a 0.105-inch length of cut. The 2-flute configuration and 40-degree right-hand spiral helix deliver efficient chip evacuation and clean cutting geometry. At 1.5 inches overall length with a 0.1875-inch straight shank, the compact stub-length profile reduces deflection during close-tolerance work. The bright uncoated finish makes wear easy to monitor. Center-cutting geometry allows plunge entry in addition to standard peripheral and slot milling.
This end mill is suited for light-duty milling, slotting, and profiling operations on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The stub-length format is preferred when maximum rigidity is required in a confined setup envelope, such as short-reach pockets or thin-wall features. Machinists and tool-and-die technicians working on manual mills, CNC machining centers, or drill presses with milling attachments will find this tool appropriate for small-feature work requiring tight dimensional control. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional and climb milling setups.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard tooling option for machines accepting a 0.1875-inch straight-shank end mill. Compatible with collet systems, end mill holders, and drill chucks sized for a 3/16-inch shank diameter. Part of Series 856.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the tool from the holder. Seat the shank fully into the collet or end mill holder to the recommended engagement depth before tightening to avoid runout. Do not use this tool beyond its rated length-of-cut range of 0.100 to 0.200 inches to prevent tool breakage or workpiece damage.
