The VALUE COLLECTION 934-000-012 is a cobalt ball end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metal-cutting applications. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, this double-end tool features a 1/32 inch (0.0313 inch) mill diameter and a 3/32 inch (0.0937 inch) length of cut. The ball nose geometry enables profiling, contouring, and finishing of complex curved surfaces. With a variable helix angle of 35 to 40 degrees and a bright/uncoated finish, it is suited for both roughing and finishing passes. The 2-flute configuration promotes chip evacuation in tight-radius cuts. This tool is used by machinists and toolmakers working on small-feature milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
The 934-000-012 is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines where small-diameter, high-precision cutting is required. Primary workpiece materials include steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous alloys, high-temperature alloys, and hardened materials. The double-end design extends tool life by offering two usable cutting ends. The straight cylindrical shank measures 3/16 inch (0.1875 inch) in diameter, compatible with standard collet chucks and tool holders of that bore size.
Designed for use with standard collet chucks and end mill holders accepting a 3/16 inch straight cylindrical shank. Suited for small-feature milling applications in CNC and manual mills across steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous alloys, high-temperature alloys, and hardened materials.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and the machine in a locked-out state per applicable machine safety procedures. Ensure the collet or tool holder is clean and free of debris before seating the shank. At this diameter, tool deflection and runout are critical factors — verify holder concentricity and use appropriate feed and speed settings for the workpiece material. Coolant-through is not supported on this tool; use external coolant or cutting fluid as appropriate for the material being machined.
