Built to Series 540 specifications, it features a 1/32-inch cutting diameter, a 3/32-inch length of cut, and a 3/16-inch straight shank. The M42 cobalt grade provides elevated heat resistance and edge retention, making it well-suited for stainless steel, alloy steels, and other demanding workpiece materials. The 40-degree helix angle promotes chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces at small diameters. This is a double-end tool, offering two usable cutting ends to extend service life before replacement is required. Installation and operation require a qualified machinist or CNC operator.

This end mill is used in vertical milling machines, CNC machining centers, and manual mills where small-diameter, high-precision profiling or slotting is required.
