The VALUE COLLECTION 841-0093 is a double-end ball end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. The tool measures 0.0938 inches in diameter with a 0.2813-inch length of cut and a 2-1/4-inch overall length. Constructed from high speed steel, it delivers reliable performance across a range of milling tasks including slotting, profiling, and contouring. The double-end configuration provides two usable cutting ends, extending service life between tool changes. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard on this 2-flute geometry, making it compatible with conventional milling setups used by machinists in job shop and production environments.
This ball end mill is suited for light-duty milling work on ferrous and non-ferrous materials where a small-diameter ball nose profile is required. Its regular length type and 3/16-inch shank diameter fit standard collets and end mill holders used in vertical machining centers, knee mills, and CNC milling machines. The 0.0938-inch cutting diameter makes it appropriate for fine detail work, small-radius contouring, and die and mold finishing passes where larger tooling cannot reach.
Designed as a standard replacement or direct-use double-end ball end mill for vertical machining centers, knee mills, and CNC milling machines equipped with collets or end mill holders accepting a 3/16-inch shank diameter.
Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before loading or changing the tool. Seat the 3/16-inch shank fully into the collet or end mill holder and tighten to the holder manufacturer's specified procedure. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or wear before each use, as small-diameter high speed steel tools are susceptible to breakage under excessive feed or depth of cut.
