The VALUE COLLECTION 830-015C is a Schedule 80 CPVC pipe coupling designed for joining 1-1/2 inch CPVC pipe runs in pressurized plumbing systems. Featuring female iron pipe thread (FIPT) connections on both ends, this coupling threads directly onto male-threaded pipe or fittings without solvent welding. CPVC construction provides resistance to corrosion, scale buildup, and the higher temperatures common in hot-water supply and industrial process lines. Schedule 80 wall thickness meets the demands of higher-pressure applications where standard Schedule 40 fittings are not appropriate. Plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting in both new construction and repair work.
This coupling is suited for residential and light commercial hot and cold water distribution systems, as well as industrial process piping where CPVC is the specified material. The FIPT x FIPT configuration makes it a practical choice when connecting to threaded valves, pumps, or equipment stubs. It is sold individually, making it a convenient option for single-point repairs or low-quantity installations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for Schedule 80 CPVC piping systems using 1-1/2 inch threaded connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the IPC. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before beginning work. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to male threads before making up the joint. Do not overtighten, as CPVC threads can crack under excessive torque.
