The VALUE COLLECTION 8172-012C is a 1-1/4 inch Schedule 80 CPVC bulkhead tank adapter designed to create a leak-tight through-wall fitting connection in tanks, reservoirs, and vessels. Constructed from CPVC (chlorinated polyvinyl chloride), this adapter handles corrosive fluids and elevated temperatures that standard PVC fittings cannot. Both end connections are female iron pipe thread (FIPT), allowing direct threaded engagement with male-threaded pipe or fittings on each side of the tank wall. Plumbers and industrial pipefitters install this adapter where a pipe must pass through and seal against a tank wall in chemical, water treatment, pool, or process fluid applications.

This bulkhead adapter is suited for residential and light commercial applications involving storage tanks, chemical feed tanks, sump basins, and pool or spa equipment enclosures. Installation Notes
