The VALUE COLLECTION 808-010 is a Schedule 80 PVC 90-degree elbow fitting designed for threaded pipe assemblies in industrial, commercial, and plumbing applications. Sized at 1 inch with female iron pipe thread (FIPT) connections on both ends, this elbow allows a full 90-degree directional change in a piping run. Schedule 80 PVC wall thickness provides greater pressure tolerance than Schedule 40, making it suitable for moderate-pressure liquid and chemical distribution systems. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters typically install this fitting in process piping, irrigation manifolds, and industrial fluid-handling systems where corrosion resistance and chemical compatibility are required.
This fitting is suited for residential and commercial plumbing, irrigation, chemical processing, and industrial pipe systems where PVC is an approved material. The FIPT x FIPT configuration threads onto male-threaded pipe or fittings on both sides, allowing integration into existing threaded PVC or compatible piping systems. It is commonly used in cold-water distribution, pool and spa equipment piping, and low-pressure process lines. The Schedule 80 rating makes it appropriate where higher wall strength is specified by design or code.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for 1-inch Schedule 80 threaded PVC piping systems using standard FIPT connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified pipefitter in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off and depressurize the pipe system completely before removing any existing fittings or making connections. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to male threads before assembling; do not overtighten, as PVC threads can crack under excessive torque. PVC fittings are not rated for high-temperature or steam service — verify system temperature and pressure requirements before installation.
